Jeffrey M. Embleton is an experienced Labor and Employment, Civil Litigation, and Environmental Law Attorney. Mr. Embleton is a Shareholder and Managing Director at Mansour Gavin. He has represented clients before state and federal courts in Ohio and several other states and has appeared before Ohio Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Jeff has represented companies before OSHA, the NLRB, and various other state and federal regulatory bodies.

His practice includes representing businesses in employment discrimination and harassment claims; wrongful termination claims; and related employment claims. He counsels employers on Rightful Terminations, Harassment Training, and other employment-related training. He also works with companies on union-free training and related issues.

Jeff represents companies and individuals in claims involving trade secret disclosure and non-competition disputes. He has also represented executives in preparation of executive employment and severance agreements. He has extensive experience representing companies in business disputes, including UCC claims, contract disputes, and other business claims.

Jeff and his wife Patti reside in Geauga County. Avid gardeners and beekeepers, they love hiking and snowshoeing, and enjoy music and the arts. They often travel to visit their five children, and come home to spoil their two dogs.

Mansour Gavin LPA

Formerly Merkel, Campbell, Dill and Zetzer, the firm began as the partnership of Reese Dill and Henry Zetzer in 1954. Ernest Mansour joined in 1955. In the late 1950s, the firm relocated from The Terminal Tower to 55 Public Square, in the heart of downtown Cleveland. In 1977, the firm restructured and became known as Mansour, Gavin, Gerlack & Manos Co., LPA.

The firm continued its growth over the next 30 years, increasing to its current size of 25 attorneys. In 2014, the firm simultaneously re-branded to become Mansour Gavin LPA and undertook its first office move in more than 50 years, relocating to North Point Tower at the corner of East 9th Street and Lakeside Avenue.

Today, Mansour Gavin provides a wide range of legal services to many successful privately held and publicly traded corporations. While we routinely handle complex legal matters, our firm focuses much of its attention on small and middle-market clients based in Northeast Ohio.
